Sobre lo que indicas, la verdad es que no he hecho una prueba técnica pero te puedo asegurar que, por ejemplo, la TDT a través de KODI en el Chromecast se ve realmente bien cuando el canal de TV emite contenido en HD. Todo ello con la solución de Localcast (el mirroring del móvil no se ve tan bien). La decoficación de video la hace el propio Chromecast para evitar que haya lag o que el Kodi on Chromecast means you can enjoy all your Kodi content via Chromecast on your TV.
